I tried this recipe twice. The first time I was surprised by the results, the muffins came out exactly like in the photo here. The second time I mistakenly dropped a an almost double amount of baking soda and 1 tsp of cocoa and I got the best muffins ever! Will certainly make this more often. And I’m thinking of making a sponge cake using the same recipe.

I followed this recipe to the letter and am incredibly disappointed with the results. I can’t help feeling that there is a liquid component missing as the batter was so dry it was literally like modelling clay. As it was my first time using Apple flour I did not deviate front the recipe one iota.
I feel like I just wasted the ingredients as the resulting creation was totally inedible.
I’m going to scour the internet to find an alternative recipe and hopefully NOT waste the remainder of my Apple flour🤞🏻
