It’s a simple recipe of homemade hummus with Hearthy Foods' Beet Flour. The vibrant colour is great for spreads and fun for kids to dip in!
1. You can store the hummus in an airtight container with a little bit of oil drizzled on top to keep it from drying out.
2. This hummus goes great with carrots, crackers, cucumbers, peppers and as an extra protein topping for a green salad.
Serves: 2 cups
Time: 15 minutes
1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
3 tbsp tahini
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp beet powder
1. In a food processor or blender, add all of the ingredients and add 2-3 tbsp of water and blend until creamy.
