Smokey Jalapeño Cashew Dip

Need a quick, flavorful, healthy dip this weekend? Try this easy vegetarian jalapeño dip made with cashews. We used our Hearthy Cashew Flour and Hearthy Apple Cider Vinegar for this recipe. Did you know cashews are amazing for our heart health and cholesterol levels? They help lower LDL and allow HDL to absorb cholesterol from the heart. Consuming cashews may help prevent heart disease, reduce inflammation, and lower oxidative stress.

Smokey Jalapeño Cashew Dip

Makes 10 ounces

Ingredients

1 cup Hearthy Cashew Flour

2 Jalapeño Fire Roasted

½ cup Water

3 TBSP Nutritional Yeast

2 TBSP Cilantro chopped

1 TBSP Garlic clove minced

½ tsp Hearthy Apple Cider Vinegar

¼ tsp Salt

⅛ tsp or Pinch of Dried Oregano

Preparation

Over high heat, fire-roast two medium-sized jalapeños until charred. Place in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap for 5 minutes. Once cooled, use gloves and remove skin, seeds, and veins. Roughly chop the jalapeños.

In a high-powered blender, pour the water then Hearthy Cashew Flour. Add remaining ingredients and blend until a smooth consistency. Add more water for a thinner dip. Now you are ready to dip!
