Chestnut is the only nut described as a "grain that grows on trees." It can be used as a pure flour in recipes such as brownies, pasta, and unleavened bread.
While our flour is extra sweet to the taste, it contains no bitter pellicle. Chestnut flour is low in fat and high in complex carbohydrates - the good kind of carbs for your body. Hearthy Chestnut Flour is great in baked goods, appetizers, entrees, soups and sauces, and desserts-A helpful hint - chestnut flour can be used as a roux by adding 1 or 2 Tablespoons of it in sauces and stews.
Use Chestnut flour with our other Apple flour, Banana Flour, and Sweet Potato Flour.
Add to your favorite recipe – use in bread, pancakes, brownies, cookies, cakes, muffins, waffles.
